A 2019 study by ETH Zurich has shown that reforestation is the most effective measure to counteract climate change. Trees bind climate-damaging CO2 and release vital O2.
 
Planted plants several trees for us every year and thus reforests climate-stable mixed forests in Germany. We think this is a great idea and can also offset our CO2 footprint.

The well-being of our earth - nature, animals and climate - is very close to our hearts. That is why we want to contribute as much as possible and with a clear conscience to protect our environment and act sustainably. 

In concrete terms, this means that when selecting our materials, we use paper that comes from sustainable forestry or is otherwise certified. When it comes to textiles, we prefer recycled materials and look for labels that verify fair working conditions. To keep delivery distances short, we only produce in Germany and Europe. For shipping, we reuse cardboard boxes and filling material. Since the founding of redfries, we have obtained 100% of our energy from green electricity.
